File library for studios

Everything you owe the client, in one bag

Carryall keeps every deliverable you have ever produced for a client — versioned, labelled and ready to hand over. When the project ends, you send one page instead of eleven links and an apology.

How it works

Four habits, and the handover stops being a chore

Nothing here needs a workshop to adopt. Put files in the right project, mark the ones that are final, send the page.

01

A folder per project, not per email

Drop working files as you go. Carryall keeps every version rather than making you name things final-final-2, and shows who uploaded what.

02

Mark what is deliverable

One switch promotes a file to a deliverable. Everything else stays internal and invisible to the client, including the thirty rejected drafts.

03

Send a handover page

A clean page with your studio name, the item list and a download-all button. Set an expiry or leave it open — clients come back years later and it still works.

04

Keep the archive

Finished projects move to cold storage at a quarter of the price and stay searchable. Retrieval takes a few minutes, not a support ticket.

Who uses it

Built by watching three kinds of studio suffer

Design

Brand and packaging

Print-ready artwork that must survive a reprint two years later, with the exact version the printer used still identifiable.

Film

Production houses

Graded masters, subtitle files and social cut-downs — delivered as one page per campaign instead of a shared drive nobody maintains.

Architecture

Practices and engineers

Drawing sets that get revised for months. Version history is the product here, and a superseded sheet must never look current.

Pricing

Per studio, not per person

Storage above the included allowance is €3 per TB per month, cold archive €0.80. No egress charges at all.

Questions

Before you move an archive

Can I bring in ten years of old projects?

Yes, and we would rather you did it in one go. Point the importer at an existing drive or S3 bucket and it copies the tree overnight, preserving folder names and modification dates. Import traffic is not billed.

What does the client actually see?

A single page with your studio name, the deliverable list, file sizes and a download-all button. No Carryall branding beyond a small line in the footer, and nothing on the page suggests they should create an account.

Do handover links expire?

Only if you set an expiry. The default is open-ended, because the whole point is that a client can come back three years later. You can revoke any link at any moment without touching the underlying files.

How is cold archive different?

It is the same storage on slower disks in a single region. Files stay listed and searchable; the first read of an archived object takes two to five minutes to warm up. Projects move there automatically after six months of inactivity, or manually whenever you like.

What if we stop paying?

The account goes read-only and every existing handover page keeps working for 12 months — your clients are not punished for your billing. You can download or export the whole library at any time during that period.

Try it on one live project

Thirty days, everything unlocked, no card. Import a finished job, build the handover page and see whether it beats what you do now.
